Solitary wildflowers

Thrive amid barren lands;

A few small white butterflies

Flutter by;

What harsh circumstance

They withstand!

As they rise so alive

Towards the boundless sky.

Each bloom

Faces the setting sun & salutes.

Different trails open up

As we keep walking through;

Some armed with thorns,

Guarded with native swords;

Others with extended hands

And the most inviting fragrance.

Now descended

To the fresh green fields,

The birds tunes

Our thoughts are mixed with;

The trees’ spiraling trunks

Read as the most heartfelt hieroglyphics.
